All New MAT/District Account Manager
We’ve been busy behind the scenes here at Parago, working alongside MATs and school districts such as Aspire and Pickens County, making considerable investments in our new MAT/District Account Manager (ACM) to facilitate the features you’ve asked for. Please find the list of new features and changes below (excluding dashboards) that went live on the 13/10/2018.
• ACM User groups- Previously, the ACM was designated for finance staff but without update, you can now add multiple staff to the ACM and create sub groups. These groups dictate which accounts can be seen by certain staff members from the inventory section through to reporting. This feature can be used by multiple departments but is useful for assisting staff in manging their own workload. To make things even better, if a staff member needs to access an account outside their group e.g. to cover a staff member outside their usual region, they can still be added to the account (outside of the ACM).
• Full ‘Category’ control- you now have the ability to control the categories and sub categories across your accounts and set the depreciation trust wide for accurate reporting.
• ACM cross-account custom fields- you can now control the custom fields you want to see across your accounts, which makes reporting even more powerful. Your schools will still retain the ability to create their own reports without affecting your own.
• ‘Smart’ field ACM set up- Your ‘smart’ periods can now be set across the trust at the click of a button. All accounts will pick up the relevant periods for fields and categories unifying the data in Parago and ensuring everyone is on the same page.
• Helpdesk configuration – You now have the ability to set up your helpdesk configuration across the trust from one location. You can even switch on the portal and obtain portal links for your schools in one action. This is a huge time saver which again helps unify your Trust reporting and workflow.
• Updated ‘look and feel’– The ACM ‘look and feel’ is now in-keeping with the new Parago Flat design. With this update we’ve made navigating around ACM even easier to further to assist users.
• ‘Dashboard’ (due November)- The ACM ‘Dashboards’ is a new feature that gives you a visual display of how your trust is performing based on a range of custom metrics that extend beyond just compliance. This visual representation of your data allows you to see what is happening across the Trust so you know if you are compliant or not based on user selected criteria. Our aim in enabling you to view your data in this way is that its easily digestible and you can make plans at a glance, rather than having to run and read through spreadsheets.
• Account ‘Category’ block- users can now be attached to specific categories so they know exactly what they are required to deal with and therefore you will no longer have your IT and Premises teams affecting each other’s data. However, we haven’t hidden the assets- they still appear ensuring the relevant information can be accessed if necessary.
• ACM email alerts – Our customers told us they wanted to know what’s coming up trust wide. Previously this would have to be done at account level for each account, but we have now implemented top-level alerts, so you can see everything that requires your attention as and when you need to. In addition, we’ve made other improvements such as group email alerts so multiple people can see the same alert keeping everyone in the loop and in-depth alert filters, meaning you can now exclude certain assets from global alerts making the information you see more relevant.
To maximise the new features and benefits, please contact your regional consultant or customersupport@parago.co.uk to arrange user training and constancy days.
We would like to thank all the MATs and school districts for their help in developing our new improved ACM. We hope you enjoy using it and we will continue keep you updated as always with future product developments as and when they happen.
